Tour Payment Requirements

To confirm your Bhutan tour, full payment - including the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) (also referred to as the Bhutan Tourism Fee or Bhutan Tourist Tax) and the tour package cost - is generally required prior to your arrival in Bhutan. If your flights to Bhutan with Bhutan Airlines or Drukair are booked through us, the airfare will also be included in the total payment. This advance payment is essential for visa processing, securing your flight seats, and completing all other necessary travel arrangements.

Bhutan Tour Payment Policy

Full Payment in Advance
The Royal Government of Bhutan requires full payment of the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) and visa fee at the time of submitting your visa application, prior to visa approval.
As your local Bhutan tour operator, we also require full payment of the tour cost in advance to complete all necessary travel arrangements before your arrival in Bhutan.

Tour Payment Deposit Option
For bookings made more than 60 days before arrival, we offer the flexibility of a 50% deposit to secure your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least one month prior to arrival.
For bookings made within 60 days of travel, full payment is typically required at the time of tour confirmation.

Visa Approval
Your Bhutan visa will be processed and approved only after full payment — including the SDF and tour cost — has been received by us, your Bhutan tour operator, and subsequently deposited with the Department of Immigration of Bhutan.
